Something bad happened

A few weeks ago we listened to a book called “Something Bad Happened” and we had to create a book of our own. I was working with my mate Tu Pakari and we did a pretty good job on it. Here it is. I hope you enjoy it. 

How to stay safe at the beach

On the 26th of February we went to Ruakaka beach  we found out some things and me and my mate Edekai put 2 things of what we learned.

Kapa haka haerenga

On Tuesday a group went to tautoko our kapa haka group in Hamilton Te rou pou manawa o kawakawa is our kapa haka groups name.So we had to be at school by 8:00 and we left at 9:00 and got to aratiatia marae. We had to sleep in a class room that used to be the wharekai and the girls had to sleep in the marae we had to wake up early and some kids went for a shower edekai and I had a shower the night before so we didint have to have one in the morning we had breakfast and my group was on breakfast clean up.We went to the stadium it was so huge kawakawa had so much supporters I was so proud of them they were so good the were all on time the all sang with pride and the boys haka was so fierce they pulled the socks off my feet.Im so proud of them

My holiday part 1

On the holidays I went to my aunties and now I want to go back.So the normal day starts and were driving to Auckland,we arrived at my papas and he was already making breakfast.when he brought the food on the table I could smell the bacon it smelt so good.when we finished we stayed there for about 20 more minutes and then we drove to my aunties when we got there the view was so amazing it was like my dream house they had a pool that was self built they had a cat called meow meow.

So the game starts and im off on bench they score heaps of times.So this girl in our team runs it and trys to tackle this big boy she unfortunately miss and gets a little bit injured then my coach puts me on for lock I get on and there's only 5 minutes to go.so we work our way down to there line and they almost steal it but we blew them out then the ref calls last play and we have a over lap then we pass it to our first five\fly half and he runs and scores. so every Tuesdays we go to technology and we make necklaces out of pewter.there are three groups hard materials,soft materials,and cooking I am in soft materials, here's a photo of me.

All Blacks Vs Aussie

So the game starts Saturday the 10 of august and All Blacks kick off.So there is  a penalty kick for Aussie which puts them in lead by 3 points. 9 minutes pass and the half back from Aussie passes it and Anton Lenert Brown almost gets and intercept but he knocks it on and the Aussie player claims the ball then gets tackled by Jack Goodhue but before he hit the ground he pops the ball up to Reece Hodge and then he gets a runaway then scores a brilliant try. Then they get a kick so the points are now 10-0.

my dads rugby game the finals

In the holidays i went to my dads rugby final.So it started and my dads team kicked off so Kaikohe ran it got tackled and then almost created a break and then they dropped it and this man named Buster.ran and made a break then got a mini run away and almost got a try.then they pass,pass again right out to the wing named josh.He got tackled but managed to get the ball to the line.the got a try then the kicker chaz took 4 steps back then took 3 steps across walked up and got it.

My rugby game

On Saturday I had a game it was Keri Keri vs united Kawakawa. So the ref tells me and there captain to do rock paper scissors i won  but for some reason he asked them what they want to do.They decided they will kick.So the ref blows the whistle and they kick our number 1 catches the ball  runs it up gets tackled.BLOW OVER!! we passed it passed it again we got tackled we dropped it they pick it up they run they get tackled and they pass pass again they get a run away  and get pushed out by this boy named Ben.

My dads game pt 3

Half time the ref said and my dads team are winning 12 to 0.My dad his coach and his other team mates are talking about what they need to do.They ref blows his whistle and there kicking off boot the ball goes up number 7 on there side cached the ball and runs it straight to number 2 on my dads team. number 2 tackles him and number 7 drops it forward Riece kicked it to there number 15 and number 15 kicked it and it almost bounced out but he kicked it back in and cached it and try.

then I run out to give the tee.My dad and his mates were jogging back to set up Bully or Chaz could kick it was Bully who took the kick.He lines up the ball walks forward and boot the flags go´s up.There ready to receive the kick so the other team boots the ball in the air and number 10 catches the ball starts running and gets tackled half back gets the ball  passes and a forward runs it straight pass pass intercept they get a run away and thy score

in my holiday i went to my dads game so this is how it went.my dads team kicked off to the other team they catch the ball and the game begins they bump off my dads mate and drop the ball my dads team picks it up they run they pass pass pass.Again they jump for the try but get pushed line out so the ref said.they throw the ball in and my dads the gets in they get tackled but do a good off load and try.

we were learning to make poems for woman's the played a  big role in there family but were unknown to people out in the world.My poem is about this young lady right here.

Christchurch poem

2 weeks ago we made poems for the lives taken in the Christchurch shooting that happened on the fifteenth of march.I made this poem to show that together were one and together we stand strong.

The deep blue sea

So I was swimming around minding my business in until the sparkle went away then I was in the deep blue sea.I swam back up to the surface  took a last breath and dived down.I closed my eyes about 20 seconds later I opened my eyes and saw a big thing i cannot tell what it was because it was right there.
